Researcher Gordon Hendler, the expedition’s expert on brittle stars, showed me some specimens of brittlestars, each smaller than a fingernail, that were retrieved from the bottom of the North Pacific Ocean earlier this week. See the photo and read more in the site’s Multimedia section
