Going home…Posted 08.08.04 at 7:30 pmLocation: At Adak I have left the R/V Roger Revelle and am at Adak, along with a group of the coral researchers, awaiting the flight back to Anchorage. To allow the ship to stay at sea and squeeze in another dive, we disembarked from the ship down a rope ladder, and boarded a skiff which carried us into Adak. Once its Aleutian Island dives are complete, the ship will continue on to Honolulu.
