Mapping our way to the next sitePosted 08.01.04 at 10:47 pmLocation: South of Kanaga and Adak islands Low-hanging clouds have obscured the islands from view for now. Inside, it’s been quite orange—from the survival suits and flotation devices we were all carrying to an early afternoon fire drill. We are spending the day mapping the ocean floor to make good use of time until the Deep Submergence team is available for its next dive, which is planned for south of Tanaga Island (to our west).
