What's it like wriggling into a Southeast Alaska wolf's den looking for pups while the pack howls around you?
Writer Kristen Romanoff performed the feat while helping grab infrared snapshots of pups for Fish & Game biologist Dave Person, a researcher who has been studying the wolves of Prince of Wales Island for 12 years.
